Tanglewood House is a serene, romantic retreat in a secluded, park-like setting one mile from the historic village of Glen Ellen.  Located on a quiet country road and surrounded by over an acre of beautiful gardens, our B&B is an ideal destination for couples who desire luxurious accommodations, complete privacy, and gracious hospitality when they visit the Sonoma Valley.

As our only guests, you will reside in one of the most spacious and elegantly appointed private suites in the Wine Country.  Your sitting room is decorated with numerous works of art and features a fireplace, cathedral ceilings, satellite TV, WIFI and refrigerator.  Your adjoining bedroom overlooks a private patio and is furnished with country pine antiques and a queen-size bed, and the tub and shower in your bathroom are tiled in Italian marble.  Your suite also has its own driveway and separate entrance.

In the morning, we serve gourmet breakfasts in your sitting room - fresh fruit and just-squeezed orange juice, French roast coffee, croissants, homemade bread, and entrees such as cheese and mushroom omelets with Canadian bacon, blueberry pancakes, or home fries with sausages.  After breakfast, take a moment or two to stroll through our gardens as you prepare for a day of sight-seeing.  Nearby there are over a dozen fine wineries and Jack London State Park with its hiking trails, picnic areas and horse rentals.  The city of Sonoma, a short 7 mile drive from Tanglewood House, is noted for its plaza, fine shops, and acclaimed restaurants.  It takes half-an-hour to drive to Napa Valley, fifty-five minutes to San Francisco, and an hour to the Pacific coast.

In the afternoon when you return to Tanglewood House, unwind by reading a book while you sunbathe by the pool, sip a glass of wine in the gazebo, or play a game of croquet on the lawn.  We look forward to hosting your next visit to the Valley of the Moon.
